Story;

"Gumrah's" plot centres around a young couple, Raghav (Aditya Roy Kapur) and Meera (Alia Bhatt), who become embroiled in a hazardous web of deception and treachery after meeting a mystery stranger, played by Sanjay Dutt. The film delves with issues such as trust, loyalty, and the darker side of human nature.

Aditya Roy Kapur gives a terrific performance as Raghav, demonstrating his acting range and ability to convey complex emotions. Alia Bhatt also gives a subtle portrayal as Meera, capturing both her character's weakness and strength. In a rare negative character, Sanjay Dutt is frightening and enigmatic, adding to the film's tension and suspense.

The cinematography and background score of the film are excellent, creating a gloomy and foreboding atmosphere that complements the narrative. With multiple surprising twists and turns, the plot is well-crafted and keeps the audience guessing until the very end.

However, the picture has significant shortcomings, most notably its pacing, which feels lethargic in places. Some plot components appear contrived and forced, and certain sequences fail to have the emotional impact they should.

"Gumrah" is a well-crafted crime thriller featuring outstanding performers and a compelling plot. While it is hardly a groundbreaking film, it is an interesting viewing for genre enthusiasts.
