Story;
Wade Watts (played by Tye Sheridan) is a teenage orphan living in the year 2045. Wade takes up the avatar name Parzival in the OASIS. James Halliday (Mark Rylance), the founder of the OASIS, has concealed an Easter egg within the virtual world. The person who finds the Easter egg and completes the sequence of challenges first will inherit Halliday's vast riches and assume control of the OASIS
Parzival and his buddies Aech (Lena Waithe), Art3mis (Olivia Cooke), Sho (Philip Zhao), and Daito (Win Morisaki) became known as the "High Five." They are determined to discovering the Easter egg and preventing the evil IOI organisation, directed by Nolan Sorrento (Ben Mendelsohn), from acquiring control of the OASIS.
As the High Five proceeds through the trials and acquires keys, they confront a variety of hurdles, such as perilous virtual landscapes and riddles that allude to Halliday's nostalgic pop culture obsessions from the 1980s. Their quest includes races, conflicts, and riddles that put their talents and expertise to the test.
Parzival develops a close friendship with Art3mis, who is also looking for the Easter egg to honour her late father. They work together to find clues and combat IOI's attempts to eliminate their competition. Along the process, they learn the value of friendship, teamwork, and the real-world implications of the OASIS.
The film concludes with a climactic battle between the High Five and Sorrento's soldiers within a virtual recreation of the Overlook Hotel from the film "The Shining." Parzival eventually solves the last obstacle, recovers the Easter egg, and takes control of the OASIS. He then decides to share ownership of the virtual environment with his pals, promoting collaboration and inclusivity.
