Story;


The film begins with an elderly Rose telling her granddaughter about her experience aboard the Titanic with her mother and fiancé, Cal Hockley, who was wealthy and violent. Rose is depressed and on the verge of committing suicide when she meets Jack, who has won a third-class ticket to the ship in a poker game.Jack and Rose meet on the Titanic's deck and instantly fall in love. Despite their disparate backgrounds, they are united by a shared spirit of adventure and a love of life. They spend time together exploring the ship, such as when Jack creates a portrait of Rose and they kiss for the first time. Cal, on the other hand, is desperate to keep Rose away from Jack while maintaining his status as her fiancé.


As the Titanic continues to sail, tensions among the passengers and crew mount. Thomas Andrews, the ship's designer, advises the captain that the ship does not have enough lifeboats to save all of the passengers in the event of an emergency. The captain, however, disregards his warnings, assuming that the Titanic is unsinkable.


The Titanic collides with an iceberg late one night, causing significant damage to the ship. Jack and Rose strive to find a means to escape the sinking ship while the passengers and crew panic. They assist one another and make it to a lifeboat, but Cal prevents Jack from joining them and abandons him to perish.


Jack and Rose are forced to cling to a floating door in the frigid seas as the Titanic sinks. Jack's condition quickly worsens, and he dies in Rose's arms. Rose makes it to shore and is rescued by a lifeboat. She subsequently learns that Jack won two plane tickets to America in a card game and chooses to use one of them to start a new life for herself.


In the current day, an elderly Rose confesses that she has saved the Heart of the Ocean, a precious diamond that was the source of so much contention on the Titanic. She throws the diamond into the sea as a sign of letting go of the past and achieving closure. She then falls asleep and awakens to find herself reunited with Jack in a dreamy vision, where they embrace and kiss in front of the ghosts of the Titanic's passengers and crew.


As the credits roll, the film concludes with a final shot of the sunken Titanic resting at the bottom of the ocean.
