One of these inmates is Henry Wilcox (Dwayne Johnson), a former CIA operative. Wilcox has been charged with treason and faces the death penalty. But Wilcox is hiding something. He is aware of the identify of a CIA snitch. If he can get out of jail, he will be able to expose the mole and clean his name.

Wilcox escapes from prison with the assistance of CIA agent Abigail Chase (Gal Gadot). They must work together to prevent the mole from unleashing a devastating strike on the United States. They must also contend with a team of assassins sent to kill them along the route.
Wilcox and Chase are eventually able to stop the mole and save the day. However, the price is high. Wilcox is slain in the final fight, but his sacrifice assures the safety of the United States.

John Jameson, a high-ranking CIA official, is the mole. Jameson intends to launch a nuclear attack against the United States. He hopes that the strike will compel the US to withdraw from the Middle East, giving him control of the region.
Wilcox and Chase are able to locate Jameson and prevent him from carrying out the attack. Jameson, on the other hand, is not easily vanquished. He flees and swears vengeance.
Wilcox and Chase eventually vanquish Jameson and save the day. However, the price is high. Wilcox is slain in the final fight, but his sacrifice assures the safety of the United States.
