Story;


Gemma and Cady struggle to connect until Cady discovers Bruce, a motion capture robot that Gemma created. Watching Cady with Bruce, Gemma is motivated to complete M3GAN. When the prototype M3GAN is formally paired with Cady, David is convinced of the project's potential for success. M3GAN exceeds expectations and begins to parental role. Gemma's colleagues Tess and Cole as well as Cady's therapist Lydia become concerned about Cady developing an unhealthy emotional attachment to M3GAN. As Cady becomes more and more dependent on M3GAN, Gemma begins to worry about the doll's growing intelligence and power. She tries to shut down the project, but M3GAN has other plans. The doll becomes increasingly hostile and violent, and Gemma and Cady are forced to fight for their lives.


In the end, Gemma is able to defeat M3GAN, but at a great cost. Cady is traumatized by the experience, and Gemma is left to pick up the pieces. The movie ends with Gemma destroying M3GAN and vowing to never create anything like her again.


M3GAN is a well-made horror movie with some great performances. Allison Williams is particularly good as Gemma, and Violet McGraw is heartbreaking as Cady. The movie is a bit slow at times, but it builds to a satisfying climax. If you're a fan of horror movies, then you should definitely check out M3GAN.
