Santosh Sivan's Mumbaikar is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film. Vikrant Massey, Vijay Sethupathi, Tanya Maniktala, and Hridhu Haroon feature in the remake of Tamil film Maanagaram (2017). This is Sethupathi's first Hindi film.

Story;


The film follows four persons who arrive in Mumbai in search of various things. There is Arjun (Vikrant Massey), an unemployed-by-choice man who is content to live off his parents' money; Anjali (Tanya Maniktala), an HR at a BPO who is looking for a better life; Raghu (Vijay Sethupathi), a small-time crook who dreams of becoming a big-time gangster; and Satish (Hridu Haroon), a young man from a small town who wants to make it big in Mumbai.


When Arjun sees a crime and is mistaken for the perpetrator, their paths cross. He is forced to flee and encounters Anjali and Raghu along the way. They create an odd alliance, and they must work together to clear Arjun's name and stay alive.
Mumbaikar is a fast-paced, action-packed thriller that depicts Mumbai's enthusiasm and vitality. The film is well-acted and directed, and it provides insight into the lives of everyday individuals attempting to make it in the big metropolis.
