Bird Box Barcelona, directed by Jaume Balagueró and starring Mario Casas, Alejandra Howard, and Roger Coma, is a 2023 Spanish-language post-apocalyptic horror film. It is set in Barcelona and is a sequel to the 2018 film Bird Box.

Story;


The film follows Sebastián and his young daughter Anna as they navigate their own survival trip through Barcelona's dismal streets. Following the annihilation of the world's population by making those who view it to talive without glancing at the monsters.


They develop an uneasy alliance with other survivors along the journey, including a group of scavengers who guide them to a safe refuge. As they approach closer to safety, however, they realise that a threat more sinister than the unseen creatures is looming.
On June 5, 2023, the film was released on Netflix. Critics gave it mixed reviews, with some enjoying the suspenseful atmosphere and others criticising its lack of creativity.

Sebastián and Anna are roller skating to celebrate Anna's birthday. A group of blind people attacks them because they want their food. Sebastián fights them off, but he gets injured.
Sebastián and Anna discover a group of survivors living in a depot. A man named David leads the group. David informs Sebastián, who promises to assist him in obtaining it.


While Sebastián and David are away, one of the creatures attacks Anna. She is able to fight it off, but the incident traumatises her.
Sebastián and David bring the generator back to the depot. The trio utilises the generator to power a radio, and they find that the Pyrenees Mountains are a safe refuge.
The group travels to the Pyrenees Mountains. A bunch of scaven

gers attacks them along the route. Sebastián is able to repel them, but Anna is kidnapped.
Sebastián and the other survivors save Anna and continue their quest. They eventually reach the Pyrenees Mountains and find refuge.
Sebastián and Anna begin a new life in the safe haven at the end of the film.


Bird Box Barcelona is a scary and atmospheric film that takes a different approach to the Bird Box theme. The picture is well-acted and directed, with some very disturbing moments. However, the picture is very generic, and it offers nothing truly novel to the genre. Overall, Bird Box Barcelona is a good post-apocalyptic horror film, but it's not a must-see.
